The crew hit Vickery's downtown last night for some Halloween action. Last night was extra special because it was the 10-year anniversary of when I met ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) catjunkie
Yep..this picture was taken 10 year ago within minutes of us meeting. I bought her french fries and the rest is history. Back then the bar used to be called Backstage Deli and had half-yard beers. Now its just another Crab House (pictured above).
I guess I should also mention I also met rwmidl and number_88 on the same night, but I get considerably less sex from them so they don't get a picture post.
I much sadder news, I had to retire my trusty pimp-boots last night..the heels went out in both of them. I shall always have fond memories of them ranging from the Pimp-a-Loompa costume at Dragoncon to drunken 3am webcam events where I would dance around in just the boots and boxers. Maybe I'll get them mounted on a plaque.

Yeah, I've been slack at posting to LJ. To be honest, I've been more of a Twitter mode as of late. Twitter seems to be the best match of my posting style..which mainly has been short text posts and/or photoblogs. Vlogging is out...partially because I'm still semi-burned out from the webcam scene but mostly because people have a REALLY hard time understanding me (I tend to talk a bit fast). I would write a script to automatically post my twits to LJ..but that's lame..even for me. Plus..I've already set up twitter to post to my Website and my Facebook account.
So, while I'm not abandoning LJ (I still plan on following my friends on here), I will probably continue to focus my posts on twitter..at least until something better comes along.

The season premiere of Hero's was tonight...I'm guessing the writer's strike and delay of season gave them plenty of time to think of original characters. After all, having a new bad-guy with the power to control magnetism has never been done before. Oh yeah..he's called "The German"...

For our second Crazy 88's costume we will be going as the "recovering 88's". Bandages,etc.
The "Received in Damaged Condition" tag was on my Battle Damaged 88 Jacket. It accidentally got stuck w/ my normal dry-cleaning. I guess they've seen worse if that only warranted a tag and not a phone call.

The biggest change I'm going to make between now and DC is the red portion of the makeup. I'm switching to red lipstick vs greasepaint which should look a tad more authentic. Plus I gotta make sure not to get too much on my mask (between the white paint on my nose and the babypowder on my chest it looks like I'm 'Batman the Coke Fiend'). Gotta put red lipstick on my lips too ..but other than that I'm really happy with how this one turned out.
